When I put the arcology project on pause a little over a year ago, I wasn’t sure what to do next with the website. VivraTerra.org, a name I have used for many years, is intended to act in future as my activism domain in general. Expect new (gradual) content to be added, and perhaps a new angle or approach to be taken.
Since the concept of the arcology is so multi-faceted, there are many possible approaches for introducing it. While I believe that arcologies represent a better way to live for most people, I’m not any longer sure that presenting it mainly as a solution to the climate crisis is the best way to frame it. I may attempt, over the next few weeks to reframe the idea as a solution to the many social issues society is experiencing. Taking about how living in an arcology could make your life better, personally, may resonate with more people and may make the concept more approachable.
